How Do I Get Started?

Fantastic! You’ve decided to become an Alpha Treatment Centers certified foster home! The first step to becoming a certified foster parent is to attend our training seminars at the Alpha Treatment Centers office located nearest to you.

We have new classes starting regularly (see Training Schedules), to speed you through the process of becoming a certified foster home. At the classes our Foster Parent Training Instructors and Foster Home Coordinators will welcome you and help you to get started. At that time you will also receive your foster parent applications packet.

It only takes 32 hours of pre-certification training to become a certified foster home provided we have received all of the necessary clearances from the Department of Justice and the necessary paperwork from you the foster parents.
